Minimalist Narad
is full blown piece from anyone else ;-) Still, this is fabulous, and definitely one of your best - which isn't saying a little. Quite epic in scope and excellent in composition and mix, fits the subject matter beautifully. Take away the rather insistent baseline in the first half and you have something very close to the best of Vangelis, which is very good in my book. Inspired break in the middle from where you start to rebuild... Very nice. Congrats and thank you. Thats a certain and immediate download :-)

Take care,
Henke

The Ballad of Love and Death
This is a fantastic composition. Good use of synths and effects along with the classical instruments. Love the movement from 3:40. Well done!

Melodic sweetness
A very mesmerizing piece. I love the simple tones of the piano bathed in spaciousness of the soundscape you created.

Worthy of Expansion
Very nicely done, Harald. The layering of sounds is exquisite and enticing and the theme definitely deserves to expand out into a broader work that captures the range of emotions that surround both Love and Death. This first movement suggests SO much more... I hope you will consider moving it along in a future composition. ;)

Almost cinematic
Rain, night streets with the couple separating to go their own ways.

It is a great pattern to build upon. I can hear the melancholy clearly, especially when you simplify the orchestration at the 3 1/2 minute mark.

Nice complement of sound types that mix together well such that each stands out in its own space.

Dloaded with thanks.

Doug
