Description
I guess this mix started my non-Ambient output recently. It is a one-take track. The only thing I don't remember is what I used to tweak everything into place. I know I used Cantabile Pro with a MIDI keyboard but the synth used with it is a mystery at the moment.

This is the 'opening number' of the 'Androids in Space' Band. I don't know if there will be any more in this particular sequence because I'm working on a couple of Christmas themes at the moment and will be putting up a taster of these over the next few days. Hopefully.

Hi Guys......
I only wish I could remember something about when I put this one together. It's almost a complete mystery. I've got to hunt out the synth that made these noises!!

It's good to be SKWERYLY most of the time. I only have time off when I go visit my parents. They are into Frank Sinatra and those older suited-rockers. Crooners they call them. I think they are just being SKWERYLY in their own nineteen fourties way!!

Take care.

Drive-by music
This has a smaller space feel to it to me - like it's in my head (which I guess everything is or isn't) but there's a between the ears sense to this one.

I love your classic R56 chord changes and the addition of the beats and bass is new - for me anyway.

Nice post!

Now over to check in on your space race entry....

Hi Doug.......
I didn't do the SRC 2011. Too busy and I put other things in the way.

This is what I tern a crossover piece, between Ambient and Electronics with a smattering of Experimental thrown in. I'm gearing up for some normal music production, for a Christmas theme or three, so just felt like a change of sorts.

Take care.

The background soundscape (familiar from your ambient pieces) is very nicely combined with cool synth work and a dizzying beat. Androids on the brink of chaos!

Brings back memories from old computer games and sci fi-movies from the 70/80:ies, much enjoyed.

Hi aRcTip.....
You found me out. I have used this MIDI sequence before but it is some time ago so couldn't tell you which other piece/s it was used in. I vary the sequence by using different instruments with different characteristics, to speed up or delay response to notes and chords. That's my method.

I remember seeing my earliest sci-fi stuff in the sixties with the Outer Limits and War of the Worlds. Great action. Those were the days. Nostalgia trip coming over me now.........Aaaahhhhh. That's better.

Take care.
