Wonderful!
Henry, this was just perfect for this time of year and I do believe after I tire of he usual Christmas albums (which I do pretty quickly), this piece will be resonating through the house. Thanks again and before I leave, just what is an "S.O.B." (wait--on second thought, don't answer that!) Michael

S.O.B.
Wendy refers to Switched On Bach by its initials, and knowing how temperamental the old Moog synths were, she probably called it much worse!

Wonderful take Henry
I love Bach on a synth (I have the original Walter S.O.B., on vinyl obviously) and you've done your usual superb job. Are there more Brandenburg's coming? As MJK implies, this will always be Christmas music to me. Thanks.

B3?
A year ago, Brandenburg #2 was my first submission to MacJams, so maybe next year I'll have a go at Brandenburg #3.

Pipes & synths
It's fun to re-imagine familiar pieces. I tried to stay away from Moog-ish sounds and bring something different. Going to other way, it's fun to take Bach's organ pieces like the Toccatas and Fugues and make romantic mini-symphonies a'la Berlioz from them. After all, a pipe organ is just an early analog synthesizer (read the labels on the stops!).

Reflection
Grandness and artistry
travel times corridors
ever evolving
but never changing
no matter how their brilliance
is so wonderfully reflected

Impressive work, well done! Love the synths sounds here, logic's presets or have you made them yourself? Got to look into these more, especially the EFM1. Is the drums (intentionally low in the mix?) made with ES1 too?

I love
these classical synth forays! Wendy would have liked this too, I think. Not so sure about the very quiet percussion, it seems a bit disquieting to my ears. Was that a residual of one of the voices you've used, or deliberate?
Minor quibble really. Very nicely done.
