Description
Strike a match. Stick it in the mud. Watch the flame dance down the shaft, become a smoldering ember, then extinguish. Think of life. Any more matches? Special thanks to Tory Slusher for mix & master of this track.

sorry, all out of matches
but hey, this is nice... intriguing ringing jazzy chord changes, flittering around the circle of fifths like a frenetic flame, almost chaotic, but just enough cohesion to maintain my interest (or perhaps it was the artwork :-). Nice use of the high and low spectrum. Welcome to Macjams!

music box
Like opening a music box of jangly sounds. Really nice progressions and a very rich and full soundscape. I like the way it occaisionally drops away into a cascade of minor chords. Could imagine this behind a ballet.

Deep
Such great sounds and textures and movement. I think you do yourself a disservice calling this new age (with all the negative baggage that can go with the genre). This seems too active and progressive. Perhaps Jazz experimental is a better fit. In any case, and engaging listen. Thanks.

Self-taught musician, started on drums and keyboards, played out in L.A. area late 1970s-1980s, quit the clubs and occupied numerous studios that I call home. These days I score imaginary soundtracks, though I'll still knock out an odd tune or so now... [see more]
