I was hoping you were going to post more
Of your switched on Tchaikowski. I love the voices you use. It sounds so cheerful and lively like this. What kind of synth did you use? Are these with GarageBand, or a different program? It is just a lot of fun to listen to.

'Tis the season for Logic.
The synths are all from Logic. GarageBand uses some of the same synths, but you are given presets for the most part. Logic has the same presets (plus a ton of extras), but it also allows you to get at the basic controls of the dozen synths that generate all the sounds. In the Nutcracker I made up sounds, sometimes starting from a favorite preset, but each sound is tailored to fit into its part, both in timbre and rhythm. Lots of fun to create, and I'm learning new tricks as I go. Glad you like it, too!

Blame or credit Richard
richard13 gave me the idea / shove to do the whole series. It turned out to be a lot of fun, though it took time I should have been doing other things.

Hi Karen!
Glad you like it. I was afraid I'd run out of interesting sounds, so I started out by using a different synth for each piece. As it turned out, each little dance took on a flavor of its own naturally. T'was fun.
