Contrasting Moods

This is simply a mix contrasting the low sounds with the high sounds with a middle ground tune of sorts.

Just under seven minutes. This is the shorter version. Some of you may be happy about this.

Hi Duane....
Glad you liked the idea. It is just another idea and arrangement that I'm playing with. I always enjoyed playing with sparklies in my pieces and this one came out OK.

Take care.

Hi aRcTip....
I thought these sounds were good too. I've a bunch of mixes that need finishing off to add to this short series.

They are my normal stuff with either a melody, sparklies (trebly bits) or both.

A bit different from my darker stuff.

Take care.

Trippy is about right for my way of thinking at the moment. Who needs LSD when you've my imagination?? I was a child of the 60's so my experience and memories go back that far.

Take care.

The low bass swells are superb. I too like the contrast. The wavering mids making the "melody" are just lovely. Great atmosphere. Nice one Paul!

Hi Dave......
I'll have to check out what presets I used for this. I almost never remember them as I switch them to get a particular soundscape for any MIDI track I'm working on. That's my joy of making music. The mixing is always different, from one or more aspects.

Take care.

Very nice Paul
With all the things in the world today going crazy, some houses that are made of glass are so easily ready to shatter. (Might be reflective on my part)

The crystal chandelier's beauty both lovely and sharply deadly.

Enjoyed the listen :)

Hi Patty.....
The word I use to describe your comments is 'crystalised'. Dried up or fossilised. Ready to disintigrate and make way for the new, more flexible forms. Don't be mesmerized by the form, it's the content that matters. The form is the result of the content or the idea shapes the form.

There's always room for something new, especially if it builds upon the old and makes things better. We, as humans, are made of other things reformed in our likeness, and of course transitory. Human becoming as opposed to human being.

Take care.

nice =)
I like that statement, Human becoming opposed to human being. I hope we get there soon, because theories like this one might be considered anti-establishment: therefore banned...sorry had to voice a little of my discontent with what's going on.

Great job!

Having a lot
of songs to catch up with I do appreciate the shorter version, even if it sounds great and I like what I hear ;-)

Thanks and take care,
