Everywhere I Go

Description
This piece was actually started prior to "Eleven Jellyfish" but was put aside and picked up again several times. A few months ago I installed the Independence Free software from Yellow Tools and was inspired to work on it more.

Two pieces of MIDI (by me), three tracks: a Hybrid Morph synth with a Trancy Vox Pad preset and a Spectral Gate & Hold effect added; TAL Noisemaker with manual settings; and the Independence Free plug-in playing a Night Synth with some manual adjustments and effects added.

The title is from the line, repeated several times but especially from 3:30 on: "All I know is, you're with me, everywhere I go".

What, you can't hear that?

Peaceful
I love the conceptual thought and feeling. Inspiring and light. Calling forth the joy of life and its wonders. Drastic change in tone suggests the drama of living and dealing with the peaks and valleys encountered therein. Wonderful.

Everywhere
Love the low end atmospherics, slighlty dissonant, panning figures. Many synth arrangements are too overblown for my taste, but this has a spareness that I like alot. Cool when the bass takes over foreground. All in all, a very musical track.

Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness Meditation in Everyday Life
When I first read the title, I was reminded of the book Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness Meditation in Everyday Life by Jon Kabat-Zinn.

Hearing it, the music evoked a transcendental vibe for me, which I quite enjoyed.

Nice blend
A good blend of synth sounds, Richard, put to good use. Like the change up at 2.40. Majestic. Thanks, Peter.

Everywhere
Very organic sound - the low synth almost breathes. Love the breather around 2:00 and then where it goes next. Kitaro comes to mind. You have this buzzy bass against a sea of soft low synths with an oboe like sound that sets a calm and tranquil, albeit dark, kind of setting.

You have great musical instincts Richard.

Thanks for the dload.

Big synths
The lead in the first half is a great sound. But I think after a while it outstays its welcome. It's probably great for playing a lick here and there, but I'm not sure that it's the right sound for such an extended melody.

The change of sounds halfway is great. The bass melody is also a little less relentless than the one in the first half. I think I like the second half best.
