Blue yonder
Evocative soundscape. Lots of intriguing sounds. I was sort of hoping for a melodic flute line to come in at the 2 minute mark, although I can see that the purpose of this is somewhat different from that. Fascinating work!

Whales......
One of the most peaceful animals on the planet and what does Knuckle
headed Man do, try to wipe them from the planet.....
All the history and we've learned nothing Man is so stupid he's a danger
to himself, I don't know any other animal in the kingdom that stupid....

Some spots a little cleaning would help, over all cool track......

spots
There was a good deal of noise in the original recording. More than a noise gate could handle.

And yes, whales are amazing. I could have just posted the original recording of whale song, rather than my take on it.

This is interesting and
relaxing, and yes ,completely different for you ,though I will stand correcting on that point.
Reminds me of the amusing little scene in "Finding Nemo" when the clown and dory sish pretend that they can talk whale....but it does also make the serious point that some dickhead nations hunt them.Tragic.I'll listen to this next time I take a bath.

Cheers

Correcting
I have several tracks that incorporate found sounds, and this one is completely found sounds, in fact recorded by me.

Enjoy your bath!

Got you beat
Hey Vic, It's been two years since I uploaded a tune. 2 months doesn't sound bad. Back to the tune, nice ambience here. The little rhythm sounds hold it together for me. Thanks for sharing.

Spooky stuff! Interesting combination of percussion and sounds. Curious how you made the whale noise (perhaps from a string instrument?).

Whales are made of whales....
It was a recording of humpback whales that I found somewhere. The first 10 seconds or so are unprocessed, after that I pull open a can of effects.

Very interesting!
Kind of brings a sense of peace... I really enjoyed your experimentalism here. Keep thinking outside the box!

Sound Foundry
This is fun to take in as a collection of sounds without concept of what they are. There is the whale association, sure, but it also has this connotation of open space (outer or the space of our imaginations). The contrast with the beats is well done - I like how you keep them simple, and have them impishly dance along throughout the piece.

Cheers,
Doug

Found sounds maybe
but they're not random. There is always method to your (relative) madness. Nicely put together and a cool (no pun intended) listen.

Ambient is right
This is a properly ambient work - reminds me of some of the Aphex Twin's early work. It's like a watery dub mix. I particularly like the phasing percussion in the background. Nice work.
