Description
About a girl that I didn't think knew I existed in high school... and wished hadn't in the end. Again, this is bare bones, hardly a song - I have no technical ability but am starting to understand. Guitar wasn't plugged in and the main vocal was sang while playing. Working on some new things with a bit more polish - hopefully you'll agree. Until then, here's a sketch of a tune that's been in my head for weeks...

Lyrics
I never saw you standing in the front yard
Throwin' rocks at my window
I never thought to say a single word cuz
I never thought that you'd follow
We could always count all the raindrops
As they fell on my pillow...

Definitely has potential. I can understand why it is hanging around in your head. Definitely keep working on it. Take care, Peter.

Glad you do!
Good to hear I'm not crazy (totally)! It's funny how I've played music most of my life, alone or with friends, but have no idea how to lay down a track. I will say that garageband does make a bit easier - I'll get there eventually. Can't wait to check your stuff out too!

Sweet
melody goes with bittersweet lyrics. Why not say teardrops instead of raindrops? Good luck filling this out. It will be very nice. Thanks.

Nice chord pattern and melody line and good start to the lyrics. Worth the effort of developing further!

The strength of the song, melody, and vocal transcend the low-fi recording. The harmonies are excellent.
