Really nice playing one of my favorite sounds!
Dueling you are and pulling some fantastic groove from such an exotic instrument. Play it my friends. Wonderful focusesd composition. A journey into mellow.

Well this was fun
I was worried that it might be a "Deliverance" situation, but it turned out friendly, and pretty good. You guys could start a two-man mando orchestra.

Nice and Mondoliny
Very impressive. You guys did a great job. The Mandolin is something that I've been quite successful at totally failing to be able to play, so I really enjoy hearing it played well.

Mandos at dawn
For some reason, the idea of you and Chris working together makes me smile and worry at the same time! Did you guys get together face to face for this, since you're nearby? Excellent stuff and has a real note of the recent Robert Plant stuff to it to me with that indian sort of Mando style to it. More mandolin stuff on here I say. Really enjoyed of course. More?

strung out to dry
a dynamic dual. far too much fun for one instrument, so you must share the joy. however, there is no singing to the strings? Catgut your tongue?

Dawn of the Mandos
I don't know which one of you blokes was playing what part, but you BOTH sounded GREAT!! And Neil, as I know you've only recently acquired your mandolin, you are really doing fine on it. This one is saved--I love listening to this style of music and that unique and enjoyable sound your instruments produce. My only quibble is the ending was pretty abrupt, but, what the hell, yanno? Thanks again and hope to hear more joint efforts by you both in the future! Michael

This is a bit Odd..
commenting on your own tune but here goes....ths sound bed that you madse was a joy to futz around with, especially seeing as you were honest enough to say that you did not really know what you were doing but went with the floe....sorry that was the Titanic...I mean, flow..I had fun and if you keep producing stuff like this o9n the fly then stay away from the primers.... 80)

It is like a little backwards assed guitar with only four strings.............

I can hear
you're getting the hang of the mandolin. I like the duet and the way the two tracks compliment each other. Dawn is fitting as well, cinematic music to start the day. Enjoyed.

Very interesting duet on a couple of unique instruments. I really enjoyed this a lot. You play with a great deal of skill (and speed). The sound is quaint and engaging and has the feeling of authentic folk music. Great to hear a serious song this evening.

I'm going to hijack your page and say thanks to everybody whom has commented
in this reply to Awigze as to everyone else....Thanks for having a little listen to our little effort....tho' it was quite a bit of effort in the execution....."Neil,what key was it in"....*shrug* ...."okay, Neil what chords did you use ? " ...*shrug* " Neil.........just ....." it was a very visceral experience but enjoyable and I think worth it.....he can play the chords .....but he just does not what they are yet......80)

enormous fun

Thanks

Nice job
Collabs like this are difficult. It is always hard for the second guy to hit his groove and follow the first player. You guys handle it pretty well here. Jarvo, you make some good adjustments to the different modalities that Neil throws out here. At one point, I thought it was over and it just started moving again.
