Description
I decided this morning to write a new opening part for my 40th Symphony. After feeling a little crazy for the last few days, this was my release and my day's work.

Wow that's some day's work...
Ominous, then serene, then stately; there are multiple moods yet it's always elegant.

No 40
Majestic opening. Softer feel at 1:15 and a lightness around 1:40. Reflective around the 3:00 mark. I love the rolls on the timpani. The build up to the ending brings the majesty and the lightness together. Beautiful music! A day well spent.
