Description
This is a rhythmic electronic piece, still flavoured by Isaac Asimov and his ideas. This one is dedicated to the old robot Bendar.

I need to start reading something proper.......or get a life.....

Very nice! I hear the soundtrack of a scene in a film where they're mass constructing a robot army. But it's a bit uplifting, so it's got the be the site of the "good" side.

Hi aRcTip....
I beliece that Bendar was a gardener. Pretty peaceful if you ask me although I don't do any of that sort of thing myself. I love flowers but not what they put their feet in....whilst holding their heads high.

I like your ideas for this piece.

Take care.

Change
of direction? Not the usual drone sounds? This has a real good industrial feel, with a nice uplifting melody hovering in the background. I too see the robot army being constructed. Maybe an army of robot gardeners?

Hi Dave.....
I used one of my other soft synths and this must have given the piece this industrial edge. I thought that because I was reading about robots and the piece sounded broadly metallic/industrial, that I would go with the flow.

I can live with robot gardeners.....No green fingers in this flat.

I'm glad it played out OK.

Take care.

Hi Harald.....
Luck played a part in the choice of instruments in this mix. I went with the first preset, for each part, that sounded ok in the arrangement. It didn't take me long to have all the instruments as there are only three tracks.

Take care.

I like the turn
your music is taking at the moment. Not the least this one is very listenable and not "just" as a backdrop. Space industrial indeed, with all the rhythm that goes with that. Still it is not as monotonous as one might associate with (industrial) mass production. You've found some very nice sounds here too, reminding me a bit of J M Jarre in places.

Keep on reading and making music. Sounds like a sweet life to me :-)

Take care,
Henke

Hi Henke....
I really should use my time to tidy up the flat, as this gets neglected whilst I am being creative.

I'll carry on reading until my eyes stop working. The sounds seem to work well with the rhythmic aspect of the mix.

Take care.

Hi Dave....
I'm glad you liked this mix. This piece just more or less followed one of my ideas and everything seemed to come together very well and quite quickly. I was lucky....

Take care.

please don't start reading something proper - if you do, we wouldn't have this!

Hi Karen.....
At the moment I have 19 books, mostly Sci-Fi, in my computer room and I read bits of each one from time to time. Some of the others are Buddhist literature, Mindfulness and other head-reformatting subjects!

I've a feeling that some of the stuff would come out in this way even if I was watching/reading something wholesome and life changing or studying classical music (which I do as well).

Thanks for stopping by. Always glad to have you listen and leave me your thoughts.

Take care.

Nice soundscape. I used to love reading Asimov's robot books. Maybe I'll have another go after hearing this! Very nice.

Hi Mr SB...
I don't know how I've missed the Asimov books until now but whilst I'm reading them I realise that there is a lot of 'old fashioned' stuff in them and they are a tad boring in places.

Thanks for listening.

Take care.

Was
a big fan of Asimov years back. Read many of his robot series. The film a few years ago didn't do it for me. I seem to recall Harlen Elison writing a screenplay for it that was never used.

Now that might have been something special and even more so with this dynamic soundscape in it.
Cheers,
Charlie

Hi Charlie....
Thanks for the compliments. It means a lot to me.

I wasn't too impressed with the 'I, Robot' film, with Wilf Smith in it but some of the ideas that came out really had my mind working.

I will have to look up Harlan Elison. I can't say I know who you mean.

Take care.

I'm here again to make a comment
I like this a lot, little different from usually stuff you do, this have a cinematic vibe to it, I can see a robot working in a steel-fabric, very well done.

Take care

Hi Kenta.....
The piece is a little different and if you like it then I'm glad that I made the mix. I like doing things a bit different now and again.

Thanks and take care.
