Description
Staring Robert Blake and Tim Allen. They have just robbed a bank and are being chased by the cops. "How do you expect me to rob a bank with no bullets in my gun?" "I thought YOU were supposed to put in the bullets!" This is the background music for that scene.

Bad Movie
This really has that retro cop show feel. Man you sure are getting a sweet tone from that guitar ... what are you playing? Funky rhythm and bed track. I like the spaces you leave with that groovin' bass. Killer playing man ... there's a live feel to your performance and mix. Excellent!

It's
a 70's Ibanez Strat copy, recorded w/ cheap garageband on an ipod touch. Bass is just the garageband tap bass, kind of hard to play 'cause the frets are so small!

with guest appearances by Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed, Tom Wopat, John Schneider, etc.
The movie must have blown its entire budget on the soundtrack, 'cause this is awesome! Definitely has a 70's vibe going on, but it's well played and a hoot to listen to!

The Ibstrats of Hazard County!...
...or, no, wait...Ibstrat And The Bandit...

Starring Jerry Reed as the lovable guitar playing sidekick deputy...

And yet, oddly, there's ALMOST this touch of early Eighties Dead to some of this...

Take the money and run...
I'm sure I've seen this movie, or perhaps I was thinking about when Woody Allen attempted to rob a bank and they couldn't read his stickup note. "I am pointing a gub at you..." Wonderful retro feel, great tone, plenty of space in the mix. Enjoyed. Thanks, Peter.

I love the lead guitar...
but like a duck on the water I also lurve what's going on underneath with those lovely rhythmn chords....sound like little blues triads sliding about a little ?I will stand correcting and be instructed if wrong boss.Honest.

Chasing away the blues
What fun. Perhaps a bit laid back for a chase scene, unless there is alcohol involved. Thanks for sharing this. Very enjoyable, even without the visuals.

Marveous Mark!
You created just what you promised--I think a score of this high a caliber would help make Robert Blake and Tim Allen look more like Gielgud and Olivier at the Old Vic! Top drawer!!

Quintessential of the Genre
Nice job of capturing the essence of bad '70s movie soundtracks, Mark. You forgot to mention that Robert Blake and Tim Allen were dressed as nuns (it wasn't in the script... that's just how they liked to dress). ;)

Very cleaver. Neat idea and a good way to get a song out of head by painting a picture? Did you have all this in mind before you wrote the Theme?
nice mix and playing as well!!!

Very probably as that's the best way to describe it. Lovely clean playing and production.

It's not often
that you let rip like this Mark - well not here at least. Maybe the jams with Fran ar turning your head a little. I'm amazed at the description of the production setup you used - makes my expectations for working with an iPad over a few months a tad higher :)
Very cool playing - VERY!
