Description
This tune is the first thing I did in GB. Basically I had recorded this song with a friend years ago using Studio Vision and my old PowerMac 7500 (RIP). Anyway... my friend had great potential but she had never sung before so needed a lesson or two in singing and as a result, I had to cut alot of takes together. Fast forward several years... I get GB and decide to give it a whirl... I pull in a lot of those tracks, basically replace everything but the vocal provided by my friend and viola! Only the intonation is not very good in the vocal. Fast forward another year... and I get GB 2. Hmmmm.... look at this little slider... pitch correction??? Let's give it a whirl! So that's what I did! Only I don't think it solved all the intonation problems... I guess once I finally track down Nia... She'll have to sing it all over again! So please take this as an experiment with the pitch correction tool. If you'd like to hear the original - look me up on one of those other Garageband sites.

Lyrics
I wish I knew before you were a lecherous lothario
Where did my Robert Browning go?
You promised me fidelity
You’ve got some damn nerve lying to me
You know I saw you, don’t say no
I’m tired of praying for a solution
You can never give me what I ask
I think it’s time I get my freedom
I think it’s time I get my freedom
I think it’s time, it’s time so you better stand back
I wish I listened to advice that warned me off of you
Why were my glasses colored rose?
I pushed away my family for some bastard who cheated on me
Trusted you and now my trouble shows
Time for me to let this go
Reconciliation? No…
No need to strike that sorry pose
I won’t be moved you’re insincere
No tears, no mental souvenirs
End of chapter, Now it’s closed

good song! Your friend has a great voice too. Reminds me
a little of Janis Joplin, and a little like some country
singers.
