Description
Written some years ago now, this symphony took me away from what seemed to be a mundane existance and then dumped me right back where I was. I fely all the better for it and realised that life really is what you make it! I hope you enjoy this 1st part...

Quite beautiful. Gentle. Warm. Pastoral. I'm running out of adjectives to describe the excellence of your work! As always, much enjoyed!

Off to a great start
I agree with pastoral, and it's not just under the influence of the artwork. This is a fine start to your latest symphony, and certainly kept my attention throughout as you progressed through a number of interesting developments of your theme and brought out the tone rest-rest figure here and there. I was reminded of Beethoven in parts, such as the horn entry at 2:19. The passage at 3:25 is like a graceful dance.

Very nicely done - on to the next movement!

Cheers Christopher, and thank you as well for letting us download this.
Doug
