Nice chords pattern. I like the chattery synth when it comes in. Good variety in the arrangement. Very easy to listen to - relaxing and enthralling. Top marks for that class!

A
solemn, though light progress, becoming slowly more energetic, touches of dynamic meaning, flashes of aspirational guitar, and then a building theme, though the underlying stateliness remains. Hard to think of circumstances to fit, perhaps a sort of procession, then a pause, like a funeral where death is a glorious reality that all can see, with spirits soaring into bliss in front of our eyes, but in an ordinary and expected way, an easy, familiar transition.

Enjoyed.

I just can't imagine
having to create a piece of music for midterm, and since you say it's for a Pro-tools class, I'm guessing you have several pieces to compose at the same time. I guess it's the same no matter the subject: lots of pressure several times a year. But you done good here: it's a lovely easy listen. I hope you got a good mark.

workload
I suppose I don't have time to sit atop a mountain top, smell flowers, and play bongos anymore. I have become far more productive; I have to produce work regardless of if I feel inspired or not. I guess as a professional producer/composer that is the case right? at the very least I have to have a phenomenal mix, so this piece, although perhaps not something I mulled over compositionally for very long, feels like a whole lot of progress production wise on my end.

What a very strange yet comforting piece. Those almost verby repetitive chord sounds are beautiful... are you making those sounds with a synth? Enjoyed very much.

MIDI
The verby chords are indeed MIDI. Protools has some kinda funky reverb plug-ins, which worked for me in this case (however I don't think I'd use them for more traditional uses. I think I used a slightly modified "Small Church" reverb on a guitar voice, which gives it that kind of warped sound.
