BeBop Jarricky Kees and Gees - TV Ricky and Jarvo in a Jam

This Song Temporarily Offline
TVRicky put out this excellent "BeBop Groove" which in my opinion stood up as a track in its own right ...I took it away and have brought it back all bashed up and rooint....well not completely....but this is not how I envisaged it or even approached it ....the organ track and bass track (split keyboard) was played straight off the cuff after many, many many guitar takes ....then the guitar track which ends up on it is nowhere like the original I had planned which was just going to be a guitar noodling over the tune...then as I say after many ineffectual takes I did the keys as a break and then the guitar had a conversation with the keys and voila......thank God for improvisation and jamming I say....this is a happy exercise in flukeing a jazzy sort of sound...it's probly not right ....but I enjoyed doing it....Cheer Chaps and Chapesses....My thanks to the bravery of Mr TV Ricky for allowing me to plunder his work and put up with what happened to it......

Good one, Chris! I like the interplay between the guitar and the keys - they are having a very cool conversation! The bed of Ricky's is astounding, really, in the way it provides so many options for adding things. Much enjoyed!

Yes ,it was
very spontaneously done was this and when I heard the playback I actually did not believe it could be bettered by doing over....it would lose the sparkle of the spontaneity.....and the odd cock up !

This was a home run guys....I'll have to second Philip's remarks as what made this special for me as he summed it up very nicely. I love when stuff like his happens--thanks to you both for some very fine and enjoyable work here!

Surprise Surprise I'm Smiling
Man you Cat's are cutting up rug..Ha Ha. I am more than thankful that my pieces are finding value here and would like to open them all to anyone who sees and feels something. Baby you put your groove here and I guess the Jam Session is on and cracking. I am so proud to have brought something to MJ that is creating value and I am happy as a lark! That you my friend for applying your groove to mine. Locked in as one forever. Too Cool Baby! Chris you are trip man and i"m happy for that. Wonderful music!

Hot time in the pub tonight
Rolled up sleeves, blue smoke, fag ends hanging over the side of the keyboard, and a pint or two resting precariously on whatever horizontal surfaces present themselves.

Nice job!

Jarvo jazz in a jabberwocky jam! Sorry... got carried away. Well it is interesting to hear what MJ'ers are doing with TvR's grooves. This is cool, Chris. I like it. The keys/guitar thang has an off-the cuff synergy. Enjoyed. Take care, Peter.
