Lyrics
Of all the days, these will be the longest
But, on some distant shore, where time no longer matters--

(Of all the days, I will the strongest)
The meaning of it all will finally be known.

Of all the days,
Of all the days

But for now, I must be the strongest;
Of all the days i ache for you...

For all the days, these will be the longest;
For all the days.

Of all the days
Elegant, subtle work, Cat. I always look forward to your vocal work. This is no exception. The organ works really well in the backer. Thanks. Regards, Peter.

A hymn...
I think, and not just because of the organ sound as your orchestra backup. There is a very prayerful quality to the composition and to the whole delivery, delivered with precise care vocally. You effortless "style" your voice (and the wonderful bits of vocal harmony) to fit the musical phrases and are always right on the money pitch-wise. ... I could have benefited from a lyric sheet. My ability to decipher words against music is diminishing, sadly. You might consider posting the text to this. ... I am, at the end, nevertheless, left in a very peaceful state from having listened to your beautiful song.

Cat time
Lovely singing, the puffy voicing in the synths work really well with the texture of your voice. Atmosphere is everything... the bells are splendid reminders.

of all .....
Performed and mixed with great delicacy. I sense a stepping forward in this piece, a reluctant and maybe weary sense, but tempered with a wisdom of understanding the broader context of things, at least a little.

Lovely post!

The searching ...
Answers? I'm still searching for the right questions to ask : )

Joking aside, this is a beautiful little contemplative piece - not too long and not too short - as it hits right at the emotional heart of life's confusions. I like the breathiness of your vocal, with its interesting mix of hesitations, stresses, strengths and nuances. It's amazing how much interpretation can go into the enunciation of a drawn out vowel or the emphasis of a single consonant or syllable.

Of course, it helps to have a great voice, and yours is working wonderfully here.
