This started as a doodle as I explored my recently bought iPad. I brought it into Logic afterwards and made a short track out of it.

As always, feedback appreciated.

Thanks! The percussions is a drum loop, which was a nice break from drum programming!

Very nice mix ... I like the underlying beat ... excellent doodle. Isn't it amazing how an iPad can be a template for something like this. Enjoyed!

Amazing, indeed! iPad is great tool for sketching ideas. Transfering ideas/audio from the iPad to your computer/DAW however is not exactly convenient. Or I haven't figured out a good way yet. Thanks for listening!

Blossomed from a sketch
Mellow but with a strong beat. The piece has depth and complexity. The strings without the beat make for a nice break half way through. Great release!

Hi aRcTip.......
It's good to hear another piece of music from you. The iPad is a wondrous thing and I hope you use it to make more music.

I like your style with these electronic pieces. They always (to me) have something uplifting about them in the melodies that you weave into the mix.

Take care.

Breathe you
Flows very well and the variety of the sounds you use keeps interest both in what's happening and in what's to come. Despite he thumping beat there is a restfulness to this that I like a lot.

First class
Your skill in choosing complementary synth sounds and creating enjoyable, interesting, melodic music tracks is first class. This is another fine example. Thanks, Peter.

Thanks for the listens. Finding and tweaking the sounds is not easy for me, just that alone can take hours of experimentation. But it's some kind of frustrating joy :)

Another really cool chord progression. I especially like how the various samples you pick, blend so perfectly. Glad you took the time to refine the draft and posted it here. Appreciate the download!

Check out Jens Buchert's 'Desert Taxi'. It has a similar feel to this track.

Great mix!
A kewl beat and mix aRcT. I love technology in that respect: how everything is highly importable to keep the creative flow from diminishing. I wish I could get my mixes to sound this clean. What kind of soap does one use 8)

Thanks for sharing.

Contemplating the milk in my coffee with this one. It's kind of a musical trephination of sorts: lush progression, interesting layering...I only wish you would start singing. Thanks for posting.

Learned a new word today. I'm not sure I qualify for singing though :) But agree with you that vocals add a lot to music. Even samples can do wonders.

Late arrival
But happy I came over. Really sweet stuff. A download, no doubt, thank you very much :-)

I was just wondering what app(s) you are using on the iPad, Garageband or some other fun stuff..?

(I am busy with a "stegtävling" in May, so I am not very present on MJ at the moment..)

Take care,
Henrik

OMG
First off, kudos to the mix in general, i mean, every sound font in this fits together. Love the filters you have on the synths. Really warm yet cutting. Nice melody lines and transitions - I know this can be very challenging. Well done!
