Description
No. 27 from my collection of piano inventions "By The Numbers." I know I'm posting these out of numerical sequence. Maybe that's a subconscious ploy to keep your interest. Don't know. ... This one is in an easy 6 to start; gets itself a little revved up around 1:20 with a bunch of left-handed octaves that I struggled to get right; and then there's a surprise ending if you make it all the way to the end at 2:20.

I find it hard to believe you struggled with any of it. You always make it sound effortless. This went perfect with my morning coffee between classes. I'm always impressed by not only the pianist you are, but the amazing composer that is Paul Page.

JS Bach can just eat his wig! Those fast left hand octaves are killer - did you have to ice your hands after this? Beautiful work Paul!

A lovely piece to enjoy
Absolutely beautiful Paul! I get all gushy when I hear pieces like this because it reminds me of my mother and sister playing piano when I was little. Although not as refined and well performed as your gift of playing =)

Your playing is so asssured and masterful it's hard to believe you struggled with any of it. The downhill flow at the end feels like a waterfall to me.
