Description
I've always wanted to do a big band blues tune ... this is as close as I'll ever get!
I picked away at this in the evenings over the past two weeks taking a break on the long weekend to do some tracks on Sammydix's cool tune.

Suburban blues!
Cool walking bass and neat jazzy chords to start things. The organ has that old sound that I love. Your vocal has a nice blend of ease and angst. Nice harmonica! Fun lyrics. A few flashing guitar riffs are great. That solo from 3:16 is a delight - beautifully integrated. I love your work, Stan!

Hi Philip
Thanks again for your heartfelt support and words. I sure don't consider myself a keyboard player but but my 2 finger technique gets me by sometime. I do love the old hammond sound.
Cheers

Love the walking bass on this Stan
And the hammond and guitar are to die for! I am still way behind on listening and commenting. And I'm still way behind on working on projects too. Just not enough time in the day. I'll never get caught up, but I'm having fun trying.

This feels great! Love it! Scat on bro!

Stunning
Stan, there are so many tasty elements to this song that it was no mean mixing feat to get them all to blend so seamlessly. This is truly awesome, and I mean awesome. Bass, drums, harp, guitars, vocals, scatting, organ, etc., you name it, they are all uniformly hot. Trust me, you are as close as anyone is going to get... Stunning, even from you. Thanks, Peter.
