Big Ears Put The Panic On!
Trippy stuff Daug but actually very straight ahead for you. Hypnotic in the repeating pattern and melody and I didn't panic but I did embrace those horns!
Cheers

Big Ears
You never quite know what's going to happen when you enter the Daug House - this one's very different from the previous one. There is a bit like someone opening my heard and putting a Mixmaster inside it. I guess that's something that the 1984 poster might do, too. I hear the plantation gets a mention in the lyrics again. Fascinating and challenging.

Big Ears Put The Panic On!
Relentless cascade of sound creates an out-of-control feeling. Slashing guitars and horn fills stand out.

I'm not really qualified...
...to make an intelligent comment on the music here, thought I was intrigued by the rhythm of it all, a sort of mantra-like chanting providing the impetus for the whole number. I must confess, though, to not being able to understand any of the lyrics. Maybe you should uplaod them if there is ever another iteration of this number.

Hello Paul
Allow me to help.
Big Ears put the panic on! Panic. Titanic. Understand it. Embrace it. Anyone want to leave the plantation? With (lots of) "shoot shadoobi" provided courtesy of the Halter Top Honeys from the BBQ. That's pretty much the whole lyric content.
The composition is centered in the key of A. Five synth blended together achieve the hypnotic pulse. There is a bit identified by a listener comment above as a kind of blender between your ear sound... this was accomplished (with little effort) in the new Iris synth.
If you will sing the patriotic song as suggested the dissonance in the horn lines will disappear. Singing as suggested will be difficult in this key, and this was intended, as part of the commentary on current events.
The rest should be obvious.
I laughed so hard when I finished the piece! This form of social commentary often finds comparison with Zappa. I will perhaps not make a piece as deep as this one again. Seems to be too much for the casual listener to wrap their head around...
