Description
I thought this would fit in fol rock gnre as I am playing two acknowleged anti-social instruments,Ackordeen and Banjo (6 string, YES it is a banjo !) ,which in my hands become weapons of considerable damage potential.....I am mistreating a harmonica and an innocent ukulele got strangled into the bargain. The mess that results is a sort of blues rock riff that is stuck in my head and I do not know what or where I have heard it.........so this is a sort of exorcism by tune I suppose .....good luck if you venture into the morass that is " Silk Purse to A Sows Ear "

I just
called Mahler brave. You are courageous. It is more fun than a barrel of monkeys... if they played accordions, banjos, ukeleles and harmonicas. Soo-ee! Yee-haw! Whatever works.

Silk purse?
A sort of "blokes in the lounge room having a jam" tune - everyone enjoying themselves. Everything has its own space in the mix. Maybe owes more to Lonnie Donnegan than to rock? Your music always entertains, Chris.

You are becoming your own jug band! The rough edges add to the charm. This has a sound and it works. The harp player is wailing!

The longer I listened...
...the more of a bang I got from this Chris. I loved it--your creativity here is at full steam and one just never knows what you'll do next. This was a delightful morass and I'd have it no other way! Thanks again mate! Michael

Jarv!! ... I loved it. It's bluesy with a cajun touch . I like the fact you put that cool drum track down to jam over. The drums definitely rock it. Banjo and ackordeen ... yeah! All instruments clear and in their spaces ... love that bluesy harp. Enjoyed!
Cheers

Almost sounds like
you're playing everything at once. Meant as a compliment. I love the off kilter sway and romp through this.

Mistreatment
The accordion part is pretty cool. Has a little of that zydeco groove feel. I could have done without the harmonica. Replace by a bass guitar?

Impressed
Were playing everything at once? Wow that's some skill there if you were. I think on your next you should introduce the blues to a kazoo or better still a comb and some tissue paper. Nice one
