glad you liked, the wah thing was actually just "fuzz wah clav" setting on Logic, played on a keyboard. Kind of a retro sound, but I tried a whole bunch of other software instrument sounds and I liked that one the best!

man I hate to disagree
well no really i get a kick from disagreement but this is not surf music. this is adult pop ultra lounge or something. more sonic youth in an unguarded moment of accessibility than dick dale. and that's what's cool about it. anyone can do dick dale. but not anyone can do sonic youth in an unguarded moment of accessibility.

adult pop ultra lounge
I will accept your classification scheme... by "surf" I really just mean some degree of tremolo on an instrumental guitar track I guess! Probably not near enough reverb.
I will definitely take the SY comparison with pleasure - I even fantasized about playing this on a green Thurston Moore signature Jazzmaster I saw in a magazine- it's in standard tuning though. As always, I am gratified you stopped by for a listen..

Really enjoy your guitars in this track.Like the contrast between the vibrato rhythm tone against the smooth warm fat tone of the lead. Nice changes. Love that last chord!
Cheers

I try to throw a new chord in every new song... I think I used a minor 6th for the first time in the middle, as well as that ending chord. so I'm happy :)
thanks for checking it out!

Ride the wild surf! Maybe that lead tone is not Dick Dale approved... but ya nailed the vibe. Snuffy would grab his board! Great job on the production here.
