Lyrics
Walking On The Moon

With every orbit we complete
Around this sun of ours
The ruddy star that we call Mars
Will chase the Evening Star

And if by chance that we should meet
I'd fall in your embrace
Across the dark of outer space
I long to touch your face

Me and you, flying up into the blue
You and I, trying to learn how to fly
Me and you, flying up into the blue
You and me, trying to see to be free

We're walking on the Moon
It's gonna happen soon
We're walking on the Moon
It's gonna happen soon
We're walking on the Moon
Me and you

Walking on the Moon
I like the two vocals - they sound good together. Nice traditional feel to the melody and the arrangement. Clean guitars. The bass has an excellent ring to it. I like the lyrics, too. Well performed and well recorded. Good one! The crowd seemed pleased!

Walking On The Moon
Nice! There's a definite San Fran vibe happening here. Love the melody and lyrics. Great choice of topic. Really fitting with the context and sentiment of both events. I like the arrangement. The flute is particularly nice.

me too. i don't know where my old posters went, lost to time...

i had fun doing the vocal harmonies, and i had fun stealing a melody line from today and tossing it in the time machine to land back in 69

thanks

Love the melody
Has a festive sound, the guitar picking is great and the flute adds nice touch. Vocal melody reflects the time period. The lyrics are fantastic. Enjoyed.

it somehow became a bit of age of Aquarius in the lyrics... trying to talk about the Moon gets that way i guess. i spent a long time messing with the guitar synths!

thank you

It must...
... be tough to write all these guitar parts with software instruments. I don't know how you have the time to deal with all that but you made 'em sound great! Good to hear your voice too. You should use it more often! Solid work here.

i started with two or three apple loops and changed around all the notes to fit the chord progression. it takes a little while, but since it repeats a lot, it's pretty fast after that. i hope to do more vocals in the future. thanks!

It really does capture the feel of that time. Gentle, melodic and nicely performed and sung. Like your lyrics. Flute is a nice addition.

Moon Men and Daughters of the New Sun. What a magical time. I like the atmospherics. Cool guitar continuum. Can't wait to meet you in the green room back stage. (Or is the green room that paisley painted Volkswagen van?)

Walking On The Moon
Feels like the 60's. I like the punchy bass, jangly guitar and the flute. Melody captures the sense of hope and optimism prevalent back then.
