March of the Tidal Waves

Description
This piece is based around the single line melody played by the tiny music box during the intro.
The melody is loosely based on an old Ukrainian folk song.

The central idea of this song is about a small fishing vessel trying to make it's way back to shore to warn their seaside village of a huge incoming storm.

++++
In the distance the sound of thunder rolls out across the sky and rain begins to fall on the boat and it's crew.
Ocean waves start to swell as the wind whips around with great fury.
Clouds blacken the sky and the water looks like endless glassy obsidian.
The fishermen hastily pull in their nets and make way towards the shore.
Ominous dark giants rise and fall from the sea, marching ever closer to the boat.
...The March of the Tidal Waves.

It's back
I liked it the first time, and I still do. It ain't metal by any stretch, but it's good. Traditional prog rock, with a regal touch.

Thanks Les,
I made some adjustments to the composition, and re-posted.
Took down the old version of this song.
I have no idea how to make GB midi guitar sound like metal, but if I get around to recording real guitar it'll hopefully help.
Thanks for stopping by again and giving this another listen.
cheers

Tasty Do
Great job of orchestration on the thing... it is something that doesn't know what it wants to be it seems, not a bad thing in music. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

Impressive
It builds, ebbs and flows. Lovely orchesration. I really like this. A simple line of melody and a lot of work to bring it to a satisfying song.
