Powerful stuff there Pamela. Maybe the drums need beefing up some. A good remix from one of the masters here? Nothing wrong with the way you sing though. Most excellent!

I said it before, but you will be in demand around these parts for collabs, for sure.

Thank you
Yes, I had the drums maxed out. I could turn all the levels down a little bit and keep the drums up. But you're right. Thanks for the input!

Powerful vocals
and I like it just the way it is. I'm especially impressed by the fact that you made it all on an iPad. Good job.
I would have d/l'd a copy but I'm happy just to hear it. Thanks.

Quality vocals do a great job conveying the emotion of the song, Ela. The guitar, organ and bass have an authentic vibe and the minimalist arrangement works just fine. Again, I am very impressed with the quality of recording you are getting out of GB for iPad. Another fine post. Thanks, Peter.

Minimalist arrangement lets the powerful vocals shine. You feel the blues and it shows. I like the guitar line. You should post the lyrics.

Thanks Dave. As my friend asked, do you really want to alienate the entire south in the first verse? I really don't. So, I'll just let ya'll interpret what those words are, i'll deny it, and we will remain friends, kay? : )

Your singing rocks. I dig the lyrics and where you take this simple blues. Love the space in the arrangement and all the instrumental performances. Man, this oozes soul. Color me impressed.

Great voice
and lot's of soul. But, I'd expect that from StL neighbor :-)
The drums low in the mix remind me of a lot of the 60's r&b.
I look forward to hearing more.

Hey KC!
We are neighbors! Yeah, the drums...I'd have to throw the tracks in some other recording software to bring them up. Or free up a track and double it. Either way, I have the drums at the highest volume setting...didn't even hear till it was pointed out.
