Flux (An Ambiental Mix)

Description
This mix is another transient mix. I'm in between genres and not because I want to be. My current mind set brings out these obscure, experimental ambient pieces. The books I'm reading are, apparently, mostly cyberpunk, so maybe that is why.

Quote: It's like I'm a message in a bottle, but whoever finds me can't read the language so they reseal the bottle after putting the message back inside and fling the bottle back into the water. No one gets the message (in the way it was intended) and the messenger has long gone, but the message is intact and on 'Pause'. All people know is that it seems to be some sort of message.

Is the intent the message or the message the intent of the message?

The Mystery or The Message.

You're back!
Nice to see [and hear] a new Paul tune up here. I'll be giving this a few more listens I think. Ideal for the commuter run! Powerful stuff and a fine mix too.

Hi Dave....
I visit MJ's every single day but neither have much to say or anything interesting enough to upload. This might change but who knows.

Please don't let the mix spoil your journey.....

Take care.

Yeah
This is a different Paul, and, I guess, in a more experimental vein. It's nicely done, though, you keep to the theme so to speak. I too probably need some more listening to get "the whole message", and then perhaps on headphones.

Anyway, take care,
Henke

Hi Henke....
Thanks for taking the time to listen. If you have any more thoughts on the mix, please let me know. The mix, and the next one (Flux #2) are more in line with electronic music as opposed to Ambient and the other elements I am playing with make the mixes, for me, experimental.

Take care.

Well
Let's put it like this: It's by far the best "experimental" music I've heard. It reminds me of Vangelis' album Invisible Connections, even though it was a veerrry long time ago I listened to that one. Big spaces and occassional sounds slowly filling up the void, or something like that... So, not my everyday favorite cup of tea, but quite listenable and on some days even enjoyable ;-) /H

This mysterious musical message is messing with my mind... :-) Almost floatation tank ambiance here, Paul. Subtle, understated but insistent. Enjoyed the therapy. Thanks, Peter.

Hi Peter....
Flotation tank Ambience. Brilliant. 'For the especially long intergalactic voyages'. My mind is now 'boggling'.

Take care.

Deep Immersion into Inner Space
A cave that formed inside an iceberg. Diffuse light enters through all of the craggy walls and from the ceiling grow huge translucent stalactites that glint and glisten as the waves fold through the water.

Quite the trip - but aren't they all when your music is heard?
