I
love that dubby rock beat and the middle eastern vibe, the break is great as are all the guitars, a nice mix of inventive sounds.
I enjoyed this Pete, thanks.

heavy belly
definitely one of your most authentic constructions.....ergo one of your best. nobody does eastern like you do. did the vocal line come from the same melody? if it didn't, then you're a genius. the distorted guitar doesn't sound like a theoretical goer....but in execution it fits like a glove. really great track pete - i think you've cornered a niche market on MJ.

Thanks
Mr. Bloke! I was a bit worried the guitar was too crunchy, but it seems to work.

Great sound! Like a heavy Rai beat, if you know it, with a bit of a Chinese mid section. Fabulous bass and guitar. I love it!

Now that's what I call distortion!
Grooves, grooves and then grooves some more.

Like Dave, I thought this wouldn't be out of place on a Rai album.

Cheers

I Wish We Were Neighbors
So I could pound on your wall and say "SHUT UP!!"

Lol! Kidding. You know I love your noise!

This is really cool stuff from that very first synth sound, to the simple understated bass line, the vocal sample and finally the long awaited shredding guitar riff.

You definitely have an original style combining the heavy electronics and dirty guitars with the eastern vocals. It amazes me that it still is so eastern and dark and rocking at the same time. The the big chord change where the drums pounce in is brilliant.

Another SBJ tune for the iPod!

Thanks Pete! Now turn that noise down!!

Lol!

This is AWESOME!
Smokey,

I love this. The guitar grabs me by the boo-boo and the synths are right on top of it. Great percussion.

The Arabic style vocals are an interesting touch (I hope I got that right)!!

I guess the parallel fourths are the eastern influence? Cool synth sounds regardless.
