Lyrics
No Need for Any Words

VERSE ONE
We sat on the edge of the unmade bed
Another new day begins
Couldn’t stop thinking about making love last night
No need for any words, no need for any words

VERSE TWO
Oh, I kissed your neck while you made fresh coffee
You felt warm, I was sleepy
Sat and watched you button up your old shirt
No need for any words, no need for any words

CHORUS
Just sitting
And looking
Couldn’t ask for a better morning
To be living
And loving
No need for any words

VERSE THREE
You run your fingers through my unbrushed hair
Your reflection in the window
A silver cobweb floated passed on the winter breeze
No need for any words, no need for any words

VERSE FOUR
A look or touch can say more than words
And I’ve learnt to sense your thoughts
Moments like these we can never get back again
No need for any words, no need for any words

CHORUS
Just sitting
And looking
Couldn’t ask for a better morning
To be living
And loving
No need for any words

BRIDGE
No sound from the outside world
No sign of life except our own
Nothing to break this magical silence
No need for any, no need for any
No need for any words

CHORUS
Just sitting
And looking
Couldn’t ask for a better morning
To be living
And loving
No need for any…any words

CHORUS
Just sitting
And looking
Couldn’t ask for a better morning
To be living
And loving
No need for any words

CHORUS
Just sitting
And looking
Couldn’t ask for a better morning
To be living
And loving
No need.. for any words

Bright, happy song. All the instruments contribute to the bright, punchy sound. And then there's Heidi's vocal - always a delight to hear! Radio-ready pop song! Much enjoyed.

Thank you again for having me play on it!

It sure came out really great! A lot of talent contributed to the song and I'm glad to have been part of it. Yes Billy did a very fine job on guitars, so did Diego who set the tone for the song :))
This is not the last time we'll be working together Brian - for sure! Love Heidi

Very nicely done!
Terrific pop song. I hear a little of ABBA in the melodic ideas and the progression (this is most definitely not a criticism). Heidi, you have a great voice, and the players all do an excellent job. I really like the radio-ready production too.
This would be a great Danish entry in Eurovision - maybe you need to make some calls.
Best wishes from Australia.

ABBA
Big thank you for your sweet words - it is funny you mention ABBA cause other of our songs (our own Songwriterz songs) has a touch of ABBA in melody as well - ABBA sure made some melodic hits in their time! A great thought on ESC but I actually think they already picked the song for this year :) But I appreciate the thought very much and for the listen :) Love Heidi

Another fine, radio-friendly pop song, team. Together you have a real handle on the genre and the arrangement and production techniques required to be successful. Having Heidi out the front doesn't do the song any harm either :-) Thanks for sharing your songs with us. Take care all, Peter.

Does NOT disappoint...
I always know I'll hear something well-produced and well-written when I hit play on one of your songs. This one is solid in form, in performance, and in overall production. And the refrain hook kind of drives itself into one's skull even on one listen. One nit: Heidi, your voice is such an exquisite pleasure to hear...It seemed to be awfully buried during the first minute or so of the number. Maybe it's the volume of the bass and bass drum set that get in the way. It seems that too many singers allow the band to take over just a bit too much. Anyway, you might check out your vocal volume just so that it's clearly out front where it deserves to be. ... This is such a pleasant, appealing song.

Thank you very much Paul for such kind words and feedback - I'm really happy that you enjoyed this song :)
Lead vocals and volumes has very different opinions - fx. singer/songwriter and country style usually use a quite high lead vocal because these genres focus alot on the words in the song. Most popmusic usually use a lower lead to bring out the drum and bass and with this song we chose to go pop and put the vocal down in the mix - of course it's unfortunate that you feel the vocal is too low in parts of the song, but I have to say that it's a matter of taste and audience etc. To me it's not too low .. but again, everyone has an opinion on your work right :)
But thanks Paul - I appreciate your words very much, always a pleasure to have you stoppin by - love Heidi
