Description
This mix, first of all, is one completed from an original Zen series mix. It has the same feel to it but is more space ambient than contemplative ambient, as the sounds used do not invoke meditative, contemplative, Zen moments, but take you one a journey beyond the clouds of earth.

Perfect for some down time and giving yourself a moment to reconnect to the important things in your life. Very effective.

Hi Sylvia.....
Your own recent piece made me want to hear George Shearing, so I'm listening to September in the Rain as I type this reply......

Glad the piece worked for you.

Take care.

Having a contemplative coffee
is what I'm doing. Really nice mix Paul, it's calming me down for sure. I need it today!

Hi Dave......
I'm always glad to help anyone in any way I can. If the mix has that sort of effect on you then I'm happy.

I hope you enjoyed the coffee.

Take care.

Oh, I don't know...
but there might be a little "meditative, contemplative, Zen moments" still going on here. Somewhere.

Hi Richard....
I think that a lot of my pieces have integrated in them a bit of calm or something that aids the quieting of the minds processes somewhat. It's what seems to come out when I compose/mix intuitively.

Take care.

Wake-up music....
Paul, I have been playing a series of pieces early in the morning that come "on" automatically. This one is going into the mix right at the top. Maybe a little ominous, but it is quietly peaceful and with a large landscape, something that's easy to fall in to. I just hope I can actually get out of bed!!! This is a very cool and, contrary to your notes above, quite contemplative number. Well done; well-conceived (as always).
