Digging' it
For some reason marimba sound remind me of bones. The way you accelerate the tempo makes me think of the slow methodical work of archeologists - you can fast forward the video of the dig and there's the person still at it like they were hours or days ago. It's also interesting how the fast marimba takes on a new growling character as its notes play so fast as to become an audible frequency in their rate of change. Very cool track!

Some very
innovative sounds come from your mind via the computer Bill.... I had to smile at the scratching or sweeping sound..... it sounded so positive, cheers M

by way of explanation
i used to work for a company called Digital Equipment Corporation - or DEC - or simply Digital. one of our great products was the KL10 (before my time) - one day, while driving off with some colleagues for lunch, we drove past our sign out front and i said "dig it all" - i was young, we were young, and the future was bright. we laughed. dig it all.

Ugh! Agh!
It's the sound of the men working on the chain gang.

But Sam Cooke never had synths like this.
