Lyrics
One way it will take its shape, today maybe just a little break

I know no time to waste, I know it’s time to play

One way I’ll be on the road, today still trying to carry the load

I feel it’s worth the time, I feel I’ve lost my mind

But if I’m right will you show me a sign

And if I’m wrong will you reward me for trying

One way it will all work out, today maybe just a little nap

I know no time to lay, I know it’s time to play

One way I’ll be standing tall, today still trying to do it all

I feel there is no end, I feel I’ve been sucked in

But if I’m right will you show me a sign

And if I’m wrong will you reward me for trying

I’ve put in over time, I’ve been a hand for hire - I’ve paid my dues and then some

I’ll do what it takes, anything for goodness sake

Just don’t forget to leave the light on, I’ll be coming one way

One way it will hold its own, today maybe I can hold the phone

I know no time to wait, I know it’s time to play

One way I’ll be walking the mile, today still trying to figure it out

I feel it’s this or death, I feel I’m over my head

(CHORUS 2) - (BREAK) - (CHORUS 3)

Real Nice Music Making!
The first thing I notice is the Production Magic applied and the Musicianship is Killing me baby! Sing it y'all. Love the energy in the song!

I like the dual vocal. The bouncy feel works well. Solid drums with a few nice fills to help things along. All the instruments shows fine musicianship. Excellent work!

yeah man, rollicking good time
love it, love the way it just rolls along with those cool dual vocals and that little bit of swing/latin, just enough for a cool cosmopolitan feel that sidles up against that groovy 70's country folk. really enjoyed. dl'd.

Cool singing by both of y'all. Your voices are wonderful alone and together. Catchy piece of writing, too. Nice rootsy band sound. I dig this!

Nice, upbeat vibe with the contrasting vocal interplay giving it life and interest. The drums and keys add a nice sense of solidity and depth. Warm and engaging. Good song. Good post. Regards, Peter.
