Lyrics
So you got yourself in a situation
So you let you heart rule your mind
You pursue the sickness of temptation
And you let yourself go blind

It pours from your heart, goes to your brain
It bleeds you dry leaves you insane
Your well spring of life turns to death
What have I done to myself?

Here I go, I'm coming back to my comfort
Let me go, I'm running into the ease of my sadness
Why are you letting yourself
Why are you letting yourself
Why are you letting yourself
Collapse back into the black black black hole
Why are you letting yourself
Why are you letting yourself
Why are you letting yourself
Collapse back into the black black black hole

It comes from your heart, it doesn't go into your eyes
It comes from your heart, it doesn't go into your eyes
It comes from your heart, it doesn't go into your eyes
It comes from your heart, it doesn't go into your eyes

Here I go, I'm coming back to my comfort
Let me go, I'm running into the ease of my sadness
Why are you letting yourself
Why are you letting yourself
Why are you letting yourself
Collapse back into the black black black hole
Why are you letting yourself
Why are you letting yourself
Why are you letting yourself
Collapse back into the black black black hole

Black Hole
I like this ... your voice and lyrics really carry this and I like the tune.
I also feel a comfort in sadness or is it melancholy...

Minimalist music
with some interesting lyrical/vocal delivery suitable for the melancholia or ennui you feel. Sadness is more prevalent than happiness and is therefore more easy to find comfort in, like an old friend.
Maybe, you got da blues ;-)

Many times in my life I have had the same feelings, nice sung as backing, thanks for sharing.

Black Hole
I also like this, maybe because it recalls vibes of the later sixties and early seventies. Probably most of us have been in that black hole at least for periods of time, and the melody and vocal are just right for evoking it.

Great voice
Some very cool changes. Your voice accompanies this tune nicely. Like the little horns on the side.

Catchy tune. Like this a lot.

Amazing expressive singing.
This has an unusual rhythm to the guitar that catches the attention from the start, and your voice is impossible to ignore. Lots of emotion and the lyrics are an eloquent description of a place most of us have been to at some time. That's why this has such a bite. Great work, you have a talent that I hope you continue to express both here and elsewhere.

Situations like those
Seem to be part of our life cycles. The mind can be a dark place indeed.

Thanks for the download

Good stuff!
Astrophysicists claim nothing escapes from a black hole in space - not even light, but the black hole you are singing about here is more recognizable as a place of depression or delusion that keeps trying to suck us in. Hopefully, there is an escape hatch!

The premise makes for a good theme and you present it well, both in writing and in singing. I was a little confused over the "you" and the "I" usage; I assume the "you" is the "I" being addressed in the mirror.

The music is attractive and those little ornamental flourishes you add in really tickle the ear. Good stuff!
