forsooth Julian
I cannot be confrontational all the time and there are times when I can only be described as just plain 'nice' ! What you need is my penultimate post on here 'Judge Mental' which is a mortor attack on a certain judge Peter Bowers.

Hope you're well me old pal.

A very pleasant listen John. No jokes or bad puns this time. Bach, to me, has always meant Christmas listening. Maybe it's just so representative of quieter, gentler times. Thanks.

thank you Richard
I know what you mean by the Christmas association - possibly because of his wonderful Christmas Oratorio.

Man...
... it's great to know you're still making music. I'll have to listen to some of the stuff that I missed while I was away. Wonderful performance here!

Fugue
Hello Bob - of all the Bach pieces that I've heard this has always been my favorite and was always my main practice piece when I was in my early twenties. I'm pleased you enjoyed it as to learn it was an uphill battle. Thank you for listening, your comments are as always valued and much appreciated.

Thank you...
...for not rushing. it is always so pleasant to listen to Bach when one can hear all of the voices clearly. Your piano sounds like a hybrid piano-harpsichord. am I missing something? ... ll of these preludes and fugues are great, but this one is particularly special to me, too, mostly because it so accessible for even us mere mortals. Thanks for the lovely cover.

thank you Paul
The piano used was a standard Korg SP200 I'm almost sure. I used to play this piece years ago along with a handful of the other preludes and fugues from the same book - [book one] but was stupid enough not to keep up with my studies and let it all go, however a few years ago I decided to try and catch up but I soon found it was not like 'riding the proverbial bike' and that I had forgotten. I'm a good boy now and practice Bach every day. Thanks again.
