Description
More iPad experiments resulted in this. The beats were created in iElectribe and DM1 on the iPad, the rest was made with GarageBand.

I imagine
this is what Tom Waits Garage sounds like during the wee hours. Cool iPadage PV.

Very cool
Wow, those are very interesting sounds. I really dig them. They have lots of potential uses as well. I especially like the graffic for this tune---that is soooooo killin'.

Hey David...
Glad to see you're exploring iPad and the music making apps. I've been doing a little of that also. This sounds great. I'm impressed with what that little device can do in the hands of a real drummer. Happy New year...

Startled me...
...with the opening buzz drone, prob'ly 'cause I had the volume up a little farther than I thought I did...

Neat exploration of noise and percussion, and I mean that in the best way...

I really do have to get brave and mess around with more iPad apps. What does the Electribe actually DO?

I did get the DM1, on your recommendation, but I've only tapped at it a little...

Thank you all
...for listening. I enjoy reading your comments!

Ed, iElectribe is another drum machine, however instead of using sampled drum sounds it allows the user to define the waveforms for each sound. It can make some crazy sounds, which (maybe you've noticed) is my kind of thing. The middle section of this tune, with the 'backwards' effect, was made using iElectribe. More extreme examples can be heard in my tune "Hypno", which makes very extensive use of iElectribe's electronic noises.
