Meandering
I get a sense of a mime artist doing his thing to this - Marcel Marceau walking down the street and greeting people. Lovely happy melody and smooth sounds. I like it a lot!

Appreciate the listen
Thanks for taking time to listen - not sure about the miming..but I'll take it as a compliment :)
Was going to post a link but the comments don't take them - Google "Arrogant Worms" and "Mime" and you'll hear a sad mime story.

...gotta love it, Mike. This is a calm stroll that you have orchestrated with some nice woodwind work above that pulsating bass line. It is, to me, much of the "same" walk, however; I wonder if moving from your prime tonality somewhere along the way might signify a turn in your stroll, perhaps down an alleyway or other street. what you have written, though, is so solid and satisfying as is. Maybe it doesn't need to go anywhere else. You certainly have command of the instruments and the direction of your walk that you've chosen. A very nice listen, indeed.

Thanks!
I really appreciate the comments and your taking the time to listen. I thought about possibly gradually playing with the tempo but wasn't sure what key changes would work. Mussorgsky I'm not :) I think its a good idea though! I have a smattering of music theory knowledge but little to none about composing.

Would go well with an animation or a movie.
Nicely composed and with the right images would make perfect sound-track material. Not loud but has a strong rhythm and it's not always easy to establish a strong rhythm quietly, so well done.

Thanks
Thanks for listening. I was trying to be impressionistic in the piece. I'm glad you liked it. I still have tons to learn when attempting classical pieces.

Thought you might have been in the area..after all, the song has an Allentown exchange! Don't know Mike Gabarick - Zen for Primates? Glad you liked the piece. Once in awhile I feel classical :)
