Description
One of the first three songs I recorded using Logic 9. Its the extended version of the song, but I tried to make the guitar passages interesting all the way.
Have a good one.

Nice mix ... like the big drum sound you're getting... would have liked to hear some variation in the bass and drums a little more. The interplay between the 2 guitars are working well. Like your playing ... enjoyed the tune.

Thanks for the tips. I use ezdrummer for drums, but I hand play the parts to give a real feel. Waves SSL module for the drum Eq and I will revisit the bass line. Happy to become a member at macjams. Have a great day!

Welcome to MacJams!

At several points
during this track I thought it might be music from a spaghetti western: your title and photo may have added to that interpretation. Whatever, I really enjoyed this (although I thought the snare was a little loud). You certainly kept my interest up with your varied guitar work throughout this fairly lengthy piece. Terrific first post, and welcome aboard.

Thank you for the feedback. I will see if I can adjust the snare level on my next mix. All the comments are really helpful and will help me grow as a musician and self produced songwriter.

I started out on piano (classical), since my best friend was taking lessons too. I later found out he got the cool teacher who taught pop songs. At the time he was playing "Joy to the World", and I had to play Mozart. Anyways, did that for 4 years, d... [see more]
