Winter

Description
A little tune to help me get through the winter ... used my 63 Fender Jazzmaster for the guitar tracks. This guitar has been with me through thick and thin and just gets better with age. I used GB's acoustic bass and midi keys for the bass track. Horns are chopped and pitched to fit. I started this tune last Friday and probably could have continued building on it but decided to stop at this point. Thanks for listening.

Winter
This is stylish, Stan! Very smooth groove. You've done an excellent job with the horns and the bass. Love those guitars - that vibrato adds nicely to the laid back feel, and the noodling around the vocal is excellent. Good lyrics - I especially like sentiments expressed in the chorus. Another for my SG collection - with thanks! Cheers. Philip

Smooth moves Stan, your playing particularly shines in this setting...vocals are nice, understated and fit well. Bass and percussion is perfect for the occasion. Enjoyed my listen!

That Fender sounds great
I traded in a '64 Mustang that I wish I still had. Though it never would hold a candle to this. Says more about the player than the guitar - you have a great touch. Excellent track.

You've just blown me away again, Stan. The rhythm vamps sound just right and the mood is just perfect. Jazzmaster by name and nature. Fantastic arrangement and mix, too. A winter wonderland. Thanks, mate. Best regards, Peter.

Great Listening!
What I'm hearing is a great band! Sounds like a real bass player to this listener, and a couple of tasty horn players all having fun with you. About 5:20 puts me in New Orleans for a bit. I enjoy the message and the feel of your tune. Will learn from and appreciate dl!

Swing
It's warm and casual, a good way to melt away the winter cold. I really like the guitar playing, and the whole tune is a great production.

Wow
I was not expecting to hear this, but then I guess I should have looked at the genre you placed it in. I'm digging the back ground (sound bed). This has actually inspired me somewhat. If something comes from it I'll be sure to give you a shout out.
