Description
A tune in C# Minor, in four phases. March to the battlefield, waiting for action, the battle, then a few bars of the aftermath. This tune is going to have the battle section completely rewritten soon, so I thought I'd post both versions for comparison. I used 19 tracks in GarageBand and had no problems, indeed according to Activity Monitor the processors were being used at below 25% even though all of these tracks are software instruments. This tune was mostly written months ago, but I couldn't finish it for some reason despite several attempts. Today at last here it is, I hope at least some people enjoy this.

The image is my own 3D CG model, the M-92 Storm-Hammer tank, what you see is entirely 3D graphics with no photo used. There's currently a larger version of this image on my web site.

Certainly a military overtone to it. I like the arrangement - the lighter section around the 2 min mark adds interest and you continue to develop and build the tune. The change towards the end works well, too. Much enjoyed!

I've hardly been able to get on the site the last few days, so here I am way past bedtime, with about a minute to spare. Anyway thanks for encouraging comments and I hope whatever the problem at MacJams is it gets fixed quickly.

Heroic, call to arms music, without a doubt. You have developed an orchestral story that matches the description above very closely. Fine work, indeed. Thanks, Peter.

2 minute introduction...
For me, it became a little long-ish. I was hoping for some change in the I-V pattern, something to ratchet up the drama...The sections of this composition do very much relate a narrative, and that story is definitely military in tone. I can see this developing into something broader and with a more-developed/expanded melodic structure. (I couldn't distinguish 19 tracks. Maybe they weren't all that necessary.
