Black Hole

Description
The deep space ship is slowly sucked in by the black holes strong gravity, rather than being a rough ride tho it is a soft gentle pull, that fills the crew with wonder and excitement. Where are they going ? What will be the result? Will they be destroyed or transported to a new realm.

The piece is structured in 4 parts, it matters not where each part starts or ends, rather it only matters that the piece conveys the feeling I described.
Some may argue that this is not classical music, I however feel it qualifies for new classical or new age.

Hope you enjoyed the journey

1-Black Gravity Sucks
2-Black Noise
3-Is that Light ?
4-Rebirth

Journey!
Captivating and suspenseful! A little dash of Vangelis in there.

Love it!

Hi Dave....
I really enjoyed sitting back and listening to this piece of music. Your description fits the music from my point of view.

The mix will accompany me on my ipod, to listen to at my leisure, taking me to new realms.

Take care.

Paul

This is a real beauty, Dave
I think it conveys exactly what you describe: a slow, steady, delicate journey of wonder and delight, with a frisson of apprehension. I helped myself to a copy, thank you.

Black Hole
Fine atmospheric piece, Dave. The balance and space in the mix is pro quality. There are some delicious musical moments and the composition has a wonderful coherence and completeness. Black holes have never been so much fun! Thanks, Peter

Black
Evocative. Love the space in this (no pun intended). Not my usual cuppa tea, but this held my interest. I'd call this music in search of a movie. Nice moment/transition at 2:45. Like the way it builds from there. A very well conceived and executed piece.

I'm liking
the atmosphere (or lack of it LOL) already; the bell=like synth is perfect with the shearing sound..... and the throbbing bass and percussive beats (love that rhythm) get us moving ever forward in these mysterious realms. The build you did here is perfect Dave...... that long note and the oncoming space voices are very descriptive of light and a new birth........ yes it is Classical for a modern age.... a kind of symphony? Regards M

Dave, I love this stuff...I'm envious of you and other musicians who can conceptualize this genre. Unfortunately for me, my brain isn't "still" enough or patient enough to think along these lines. Beautifully played.

On this one, Dave! Coherent but varied and much to the point. Well done. Enjoyed.
