Love that
faltering bass that gives a hint of comedy as hinted at in the look on Stan Laurels face in the pic.... yes this lovely piece could very well be the soundtrack music to many films of his era.... very well orchestrated and produced/mixed.... and enjoyed, regards M

That was/is fun
Nice use of wind instruments, especially the melody at the end. Kind of Copland-esque.
Gotta run; don't want to be late.

Very well done and much enjoyed. The low brass propels this nicely. The ever expanding arrangement holds one's interest to the end.

Classic photo! Appealing composition. The repeated brass bass motif anchors it nicely and the woodwinds provide the contrast. Well done. Thanks, Peter.

Hurty-Gurty...
That plucky brass bass is very engaging. Get some distinct melodies springing out of this ... and then transpose up about a 3rd around 1:15 and let it fly. This was fun to listen to.

Comedy
Bassoon like sounds are always considered funny (pity the bassoon player who wants to play romantically) as are lopsided rhythms. In this tune it all comes together for a very cheerful ditty. Enjoyed.
