This Time Tomorrow w/ Amy Cook

Description
I wrote this song in 1963, thinking (grandly) of Roy Orbison. I never could sing it well myself because of the range, but my wife's niece, Amy, has all the notes and nice vocal quality to go with them. It's about the sense of emptiness and lack of direction often felt following the breakup of a love relationship.

Took me a minute
to get the image (I must be a little thick): nicely done. The song sounds pretty good (especially for being 50 years old) and Amy does a fine job with it.

Wonderful that your niece was able to put her voice to this piece.

Yes, I can see the influence. While I like the song, I find the rhythm guitar a tad repetitive. It's tchang-ke-tchang-and-tchang-tchang pretty much throughout. The later larger orchestra should come a lot earlier for me.

Thanks for listening, also for your comment. Yes, the instrumentation is very spare, altogether, but especially until toward the end. I should probably introduce something more when "This time tomorrow" first comes around. By the way, if you have the time, could you tell me how to get my thumbnail picture on these comments? I must be blind, but I don't see any instructions on the site.
