Thanks
Thanks for listening. I like the Miroslav instruments quite a bit. Good sounds despite being very old samples.

I am sorry that winter is hanging on so long
and I'm happy to see you moving beyond electronic and jazz genres (though I think you have before). This wasn't done on your iPad I notice: the snow must have confined you to the house. Whatever: Go Phillies. (I root for the Blue Jays but I don't mind a quick root for your team, especially this early in the season, and since they're in different leagues ;-)

Eclectic or just A.D.D.
I jump genres from time to time :) I do love the electronica but sometimes when I hear music in my head, its in traditional timbres and instruments so I go either Jazz or Classical for the real(ish) sounding stuff. Ah, the Blue Jays...well we'll just forget about that 93 series :)

Awfully soft start...
...Check out the volume. It gets better as you get into about 1:10 or so. There is a bleak quality to the way you orchestrated this with the flute and oboe in counterpoint. I wonder if you actually write this stuff down. It sounds a little like an improvisation that could be tightened up a lot if you knew what was coming next. Might open up some other possibilities for instrumentation, too, as well as melodic development that takes on some notion of real "form."
