Description
Another spontaneous song. After having an emotional discussion with a good friend, I went into my room, plugged into the computer, vented, and saturated what came out with effects. thats it. just an expression.
Sometimes we expect things out of a situation or people that can never manifest. We often forget to stop and see what is actually there. Its sad to see a good friendship become covered in sticky emotional stuff. If only we could just spin it all away.

Lyrics
Open up some why don’t you, girl...
...i’m waiting
oh, why don’t you say something about the way you’ve been acting
girl
why don’t we stop pretending that we’re going back
to where we were
oh, girl
I’m tired of saying that i’m excited about this
i’m not excited about this
oh, why don’t we just step outside
and take a breath of fresh air
and...
...spin around, around, around
till all of this old stuff starts to fall away
and why don’t we just keep on going
sometimes i know that i need to see another day
why don’t we run away to
that place where we have been dreaming of
oh, why don’t we just go.
...i’m waiting
oh, why don’t you say something about the way you’ve been acting
girl
why don’t we stop pretending that we’re going back
to where we were
oh, girl
I’m tired of saying that i’m excited about this
i’m not excited about this

I love the way you sing this and the extreme deep reverb works very well. You have such an expressive voice and the melody you sing is exceptionally inventive and wonderfully unpredictable. The guitar sounds alright but somehow I imagine a piano or something else (simple and soft) might sound better against the beautiful sparseness. There's some peaking on your vocals. I think it's great how you capture these spontaneous songs of yours. That said, I think it would be worth taking another shot at this to fix the peaking distortion and to perhaps experiment with an alternative to the guitar. It's a very nice song anyway.
