Lyrics
Say something
I know you’re in there somewhere
But I can’t see past your eyes
Do something
Even though I don’t know
If I really think that’s wise

Don’t keep me in suspense
Don’t keep me hanging here
I can’t hold my breath no more

Don’t keep me waiting for a word
How much longer must I wait
Don’t keep me waiting for my fate
Don’t leave me twisting in the wind
This not knowing’s killing me
Don’t make me wait in misery

I’m sorry
I said those things I said
I just wanted a reaction
You know me
I’m a jackass and I
Will not give you satisfaction

Don’t keep me in suspense
Don’t keep me hanging here
I can’t hold my breath no more

Don’t keep me waiting for a word
How much longer must I wait
Don’t keep me waiting for my fate
Don’t leave me twisting in the wind
This not knowing’s killing me
Don’t make me wait in misery

Thank you
for the kind comment. Yeah, this one came to me right as I was waking up. I actually recorded it before I got out of bed! If only they were all that easy.

Don't Keep Me Waitin'
Hi Rod. I was going to say "welcome to MJ" but I see you have been a member since 2009. If this is your first MJ post, it is a good one. Lots of energy and a good example of the genre. Some quality vocal work and a catchy hook. Thanks, Peter.

snappy, right off the bat. there is a great energy that you bring to the table on this. sometimes the immediacy pays off.

Energetic performance. Solid drums and bass and the guitars are very good. Impressive work!

Sparky.
Has some real energy from note one, right to the end. Tune bounces along nicely and the song has a lot of feeling in the lyrics and delivery. Has a 60s or 70s feel to the guitar work that threw me right back to my schooldays.
