Description
The poem in the ride out is the first stanza of "Sheep" by Carl Sandberg. Memorize that one. You can recall it for your fellows in the labor camp, what joy it will bring.

Sheep Bacon
A pretty cool Daug tune ... I always feel a little crazy after listening to one of your tunes ... ah yes, bacon is good for you ... especially sheep bacon.
If something scares them they'll still stay as a group ... like people.
Baaaaaaa....con.
Cheers

Hello Stan
Thanks for stopping by, and of course you are a bit crazy. In defense of my tunes anyway- not crazy. Journey's into the heart and soul of the Sheep Nation, thrill as the latest undance groove is constructed for your ears. So many funny bits- I just couldn't stop laughing to finish...

I agree bacon is good for you, always interesting to make out all the different vocals going on in the background. I thought you would actually use more of a strong beat , but then it wouldnt be Daug

Pork Mutton
I faved it for the title. I see the transmogrification ray was left on over there. When our well ran dry we used to hook up a water hose to our neighbors faucet and hook it on one of our outdoor faucets and we had water until we could get another well drilled. Oops. Tangent.

Ah a question of method?
The method is simple, to reflect the absurd truth, for exactly what it is... Records of the time for the time in time and that's in the news!

Sheep Bacon
WTF! Last song I was a cow. Now I am a sheep. Will you please make up your mind! I am muttoning under my breath. If you go the pork route next song I'm outta here. Talk about "herd it on the grapevine..." I am Dauged again. Take care, Peter.

Now Peter
Cows and sheep were convenient words to stand in for ideas. One of the technique things I try to use is to get all the ideas into things. Naked idea words are not effective and frankly just poor taste. So it's like: tell the girl you love her... she is not too impressed for lots of people might tell a girl they love her, give the girl the roses and tell her you love her- and she is moved. The roses hold meaning. Put the ideas into things ;)
Expectations will get dauged 'round here, it's why my friends listen. Have some bacon, you will feel better.

Sage advice
Thanks for the enlightenment, Daug. Following your sage advice, I gave my partner some sheep bacon as a present yesterday and all she did was beef about it. She said it was a poultry representation of the esteem in which I held her, called me a pig, and said it was the worse present anyone had given to herbivore. Looks like it is working! P.S. I might have inadvertently left off a smiley face in my original comment... :-) Bacon for breakfast! Kind regards, Peter.

Heelo der!
Lots of structure here. Of course not what you'd expect.
a unique Intro based in B flat, an A section with a radical tempo crash, speed up into A section, A section repeated but moves 5-3-2 into a descending sequence in B flat that moves down the harmonic sequence from the tonic. The outro features a reharmonization of Baa Baa Black Sheep. Sorry I don't use that stuff you are talking about...lol.

once again
there were a series of zappa albums that were released on warner brothers i believe....i bought a couple...that's exactly what this sounds like to me, zappa outakes. The distortion I heard on all your early recordings seems to be gone, and this sounds nice and clear, so that's a plus.

still always get the feeling with your recordings and your comments, that you think you are quite a bit smarter than the rest of the planet, and that it is a character flaw if we don't enjoy your music. And I find that pretty off putting. really liked summertime tho.....you made allanah sound awesome...

Hello Francis
Nice to see you stopped your MJ re-start tour in the Daug House.
Just cos you bought a Warner's Zappa release you get all that knowledge?
Truth be told Zappa started social satire in his work in 64 with MGM.
You are welcome to compare my stuff with Zappa anytime. I disagree
with the Warner's comparison strongly.
Now do something right and tell Alannah how much you
enjoyed her work on "Summertime". She is sensitive to what folks think
about her efforts, she really did an outstanding job, especially considering
she was working with Daug.

Sheep and National Socialism, that works. However, to translate the music might be tricky. Have I ever told you about a guy called Zappa. Nothing wet here!
