Comes from playing cowboys and indians by myself as a young boy. Had this dream on night, woke up wrote this down. Next day put the music to it. Never changed a word. Been trying for 25 years to do it again. Never has happened.

Cowboys
Nothing better than a good gunslinger ballad. Especially one with all kinds of little details that reads like a max brand novel. Not an easy kind of song to do. Really like this.
