Description
Celebrating 100 months on Macjams! As I'm known to do- this is a spontaneous jam that we recorded.

When we have band practice my lead guitar player is on time and drummer and bass player are usually late (shocking, huh?) When that happens I just play a riff and improvise a vocal- Andre jumps in and plays some lead.

In other words, another organic musical experience from aclarke. This is one we'll definitely be fleshing out and completing in the near future.

This was recorded using my little Tascam recorder, capturing the sound live from the PA speakers.

Hi Adam!
Welcome home :)
Looking forward to a full band version of this. I hadn't realised that I joined MJ only 4 months after you. When I first posted all those years ago, I figured you were a seasoned veteran.
Anyway, nice to see you posting again, and hope to hear more soon.
Cheers from Oz,
Neil

I'm going to trust you on those.

Would there be a way for your acoustic and electric guitar to sound like two independent parts? Must of the time they seem to be strumming the same rhythm.

Good to see you again around these parts!

Definite basis for a good song here, Adam. Liking the acoustic sounds and the Tom Pettyesque vocals. The main lyric lines will work well. There is some nice lead hidden in the demo mix. Would be great to hear this developed as a studio mix. Regards, Peter.

Thanks, All!
I really appreciate your comments! This is something I hope to work more on with the band- and ideally I'd like to get it in shape to play it live.

Hope you all are doing well!

Sang in high school many years ago- I've been playing guitar on and off for the last twenty years and still don't know what the heck I'm doing. Don't ask me what chords, notes, or keys I'm playing in- I use the force when I play! I wrote my first two... [see more]
