Description
I won't bother explaining who Julia is, it was a long time ago, other than to say she was an African American, and she is missed...This piece is in her memory where ever she maybe..

"There a difference between goodbye and letting go. Goodbye is I'll see you again when I'm ready to hold your hand & when your ready to hold mine.
Letting go is I'll miss your hand. I realize it's not mine to to hold, and I will never hold it again"

A Sad Goodbye
Sounds like a complex story behind this Dave.
I am a big fan of the delayed old style piano. When your synth work comes in, it fits so wonderfully in this piece.

A Sad Goodbye
This has an epic, large production feel, Dave. It encompasses a wide and varied sonic palette and has impressive space in the mix. I'm not really picking up the 'miss you' theme, though. It sounds a bit more buoyant and affirming than that to me. Enjoyed. Regards, Peter.

Sad Goodbye
Nice piece which touches on a few different genres - one of those types of chord progressions that gives you lots of possibilities. Enjoyed this - thanks!

Wow, this is most excellent, Dave. As always, you have a great knack of building songs from change to change, which creates an interesting dynamic feel. Nice post! RoK

Wow
Calls for a relisten (on headphones perhaps) but sounded quite majestic the first time around. Could hear the sadness in it still. Interesting mix of sounds/genres. I thought maybe there is still room for even further development and more layers? Have to see if my next listen supports that... Great piece either way, thanks :-)

Take care,
Henke

So true, I believe that. Sad yet it sounds he or she or both are willing to endure.

Thanks for sharing.
